Marc thought marabou flies were interesting, so he started to tie them (his way) 6 years ago. Fished them with outstanding success however no one wanted to try them. Slowly the fly gained popularity and Paul Marriner tried them the way they should be tied and he was very happy eventually adding them in one of his book and numerous magazines , he has since asked me to give them a name so I came up with “Madorabou Assassin’s”
Now you can find the Madorabou Assassin in lot's of fly box people fish them in the spring. Line and Marc fished caught and released over 220 salmon last spring. A great trout fly that has caught his fair share of nice fish throughout Canada, USA and beyond.
